projectY cowork News:

projectY cowork Los Alamos member, Zhennovate LLC, a Los Alamos-based education startup that scales personalized skillset development to help individuals achieve and sustain high performance, was recently chosen as the winner of the $20,000 investment prize awarded by the Arrowhead Center at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces.
The investment prize was decided based on the customer traction and company growth potential that Team Zhennovate demonstrated throughout the five-month long HealthSprint accelerator program, developed by the Arrowhead Center and sponsored by New Mexico Gas Company.
“I initially applied to get some accountability support in New Mexico, and I became impressed by the level of quality mentorship provided on a weekly basis by the two seasoned investor mentors in HealthSprint,” Di Ye, founder of Zhennovate said. “They understood what we are trying to achieve within the first five minutes of conversation.”
“With today’s fast-changing economy,” Ye said, “organizations are experiencing increasing demand for a nimble and high-performing workforce, which makes adaptive character traits – such as resilience – imperative for today’s employees.”
To alleviate stress and prevent depression and anxiety epidemic, Zhennovate believes that mindset training is fundamental to turning stressful situations into opportunities for growth and innovation, and thereby empowering individuals to thrive. Many organizations in the U.S. already hire executive coaches to help their senior executives discern and transform limiting beliefs to stay on top of their performance, yet these expensive resources largely remain out of reach to many employees.
“Why should executive coaching only be available to the top 1% of an organization and people who have moved beyond mid-career?” questioned Ye. “How much more can be accomplished if premium training is made available to everyone at an earlier stage in their professional careers?” As a former program manager at Microsoft, Ye experienced the transformative power of executive coaching on her personal life and work performance, and was inspired to make it available to others – regardless of their career level.
To many, mindset training is a personalized, high-touch process traditionally delivered by human behavior experts. For Ye, a technology native who graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a professional career and leadership coach, she knew technology could play a role in scaling these premium high-touch resources to make them accessible to everyone. The company’s initial digital solution, offering personalized, continuous resilience development, has already garnered support and interest from numerous universities, companies, and professional groups.
Thanks to customized and comprehensive support of projectY cowork, Zhennovate got started in Los Alamos, and serves customers across the country.
Zhennovate continues to provide group workshops as well as personalized career and leadership development sessions for university students, researchers, and working professionals.
