BizSprint is an Arrowhead Accelerator program to launch successful businesses. The goal of this program is to accelerate New Mexico startups to drive economic growth.
BizSprint Deming is a 5-week business bootcamp for Deming’s export-based startups to test the feasibility of their business idea.

Program graduates have the opportunity to join Arrowhead Ventures. They will benefit from continued business and technical advising for the life of the company, academic, and industry connections, up to $20,000 in Amazon Web Service Credits, NSF I-Corps lineage (an opportunity for a $50,000 grant), and investment consideration for the Arrowhead Innovation Fund.
Participation is free. We encourage everyone at any stage of business to apply.
Program Requirements / Outcomes
- Participant(s) and business must be based in New Mexico.
- Availability to attend one three-hour and four two-hour workshops virtually or in-person:
- Spring 2020 Cohort will meet Friday mornings February 21, 2020- March 21, 2020
- To successfully complete BizSprint, teams are expected to conduct interviews with potential customers for their product or service.
- Participants must have plans to sell their products or services outside New Mexico.
- If the business is based on science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) or another topic normally supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), eligibility can be granted for the NSF I-Corps team program. Arrowhead Community Entrepreneurship Program
The Arrowhead Community Entrepreneurship Program’s (ACEP) goal is to level the playing field for all entrepreneurs, everywhere. To fuel and accelerate this goal, ACEP shares best practices, tools, staff time, networks and programs with NM community leaders to launch place-based accelerators. ACEP is currently partnered with the communities of Taos, Farmington, Deming and Las Vegas. Contact ati@nmsu.edu to express interest in becoming an ACEP site.
